Email rejections - Hotmail, Outlook & Live.com

Began:

The issue appears to be continuing for messages sent on the 28th or 29th.

Contacts impacted by this will show as as a Rejection, which will expire automatically about 3 days after message send.

Our service provider is aware of the issue and working to resolve it, but we don't have a timeframe yet.

We're currently experiencing some deliverability issues to Microsoft-hosted email addresses (i.e. Hotmail, Outlook & Live.com).

This is due to Microsoft taking issue with the IP addresses used by our email service provider, who is working to resolve the situation.

As a result of this our systems have automatically and temporarily paused sending email to those addresses.

Organisations impacted by this will have sent email on the 25th, 26th, or 27th.

Email addresses which are showing as Rejected as a result of this should be lifted automatically after about 3 days; many already are.

[Complete] Email queueing due to planned network maintenance

Began: Ended: Duration:
  • Email Service

One of our service partners will be performing planned network maintenance impacting some customers' ability to send email.

This outage should only impact you if your organisation uses a custom domain for email set up prior to mid-2024.

We expect the outage to last approximately two hours. Mail sent during this time will be queued, with further queueing delays possible afterwards.

The scheduled maintenance is now underway. We'll keep you updated on our progress.

The maintenance is now complete. Thanks for your patience.
